It’s been over a year since the Eaton & Palisades fires tore through Los Angeles County in January 2025. While the headlines have faded, the work of rebuilding lives is still in full swing. We are incredibly proud to share that Team ROWW is still active on the ground, continuing our mission to fulfill the unmet needs of this community! Our partnership with the American Red Cross remains stronger than ever. Through their 2025 California Wildfire Long-Term Recovery Program, ROWW has been empowered to move beyond immediate relief into deep, long-term support. Looking back at our 3rd deployment to Jamaica, whi Looking back at our 3rd deployment to Jamaica, which we wrapped up mid-January. It's been a few weeks since the team headed home, but the impact of this mission is still fresh. This 3rd trip back following Hurricane Melissa was primarily focused on making sure no family was left behind. During this deployment we weren't just patching up roofs, we were building up hope. Even with the scarcity of supplies and the logistical hurdles, the "will to rebuild" we saw from the locals in areas like Patoosie and beyond kept us motivated every day. We set out to leave a lasting impression, and in return, the people of Jamaica left one on us. A massive thank you to our volunteers who put in the sweat, and to our donors for making 3 back-to-back deployments possible. Strength truly is a cycle. As we near our final days here in Jamaica we’re st As we near our final days here in Jamaica we’re staying active with roof tarping, sourcing and delivering supplies, helping to remove debris, and staying involved as a resource for residents on quick home repairs! This is our 3rd time back in Jamaica since Hurricane Melissa made landfall and we’re thankful for all the well wishes from our supports across the globe. We see it and spread the word to everyone we’re helping so they know there’s eyes on them, worldwide! We still have communications supplies stuck in customs, as those get released we’ll be sure to get them in the right hands to help establish internet in remote areas. Thank you all, this has been one helluva journey.
