Over the past few days Team ROWW has been conducting recon missions to survey the Tampa area for those that need help. We’re now in phase 2 of our deployment - recovery! Our team is accepting volunteers to begin muck and gut projects for homes that were impacted by the storm surge and flooded. Please email responders@roww.org for information about getting involved and if you need help, please also email us!

Hurricane Milton Live Look: Following last night’s hit by Hurricane Milton, we have a team conducting search and rescue (SAR) missions. We are also traveling down with our equipment trailer and will be ready to get to work! Please consider donating to ROWW at roww.org, all volunteer inquiries can be sent to responders@roww.org. Together we are strong! Our team has been boots

Together we are strong!

Our team has been boots on the ground since Hurricane Helene made landfall and we helped people along the way while we traveled to Asheville where we’ve been since September 28th. It’s time for us to do the same for Florida in preparation of Hurricane Milton. This is unprecedented with these two storms being back to back and we leave Asheville knowing we made great impacts here. Our work in NC isn’t done! We are so proud of everyone that came together to lend a helping hand and donate equipment. From our initial wellness checks and search and rescue missions, to the air evacs, to our donation and distribution center, this has been amazing to see the progress. Western North Carolina has a tough road ahead so please don’t hesitate to get involved there if you’re looking to help.

We have an unknown journey ahead of us and Milton has shown to be a massive hurricane but we trudge on knowing we have the love and support of this amazing community of donors and volunteers alongside us. We are keeping everyone in Milton’s impact zones in our thoughts as we begin the trip towards Tampa, FL.

We will have a Hurricane Milton donation page up very soon and for everyone proactively wanting to get involved please continue to email responders@roww.org for volunteer details.
