As we near our final days here in Jamaica we’re st As we near our final days here in Jamaica we’re staying active with roof tarping, sourcing and delivering supplies, helping to remove debris, and staying involved as a resource for residents on quick home repairs!

This is our 3rd time back in Jamaica since Hurricane Melissa made landfall and we’re thankful for all the well wishes from our supports across the globe. We see it and spread the word to everyone we’re helping so they know there’s eyes on them, worldwide!

We still have communications supplies stuck in customs, as those get released we’ll be sure to get them in the right hands to help establish internet in remote areas.

Thank you all, this has been one helluva journey.
Team ROWW has now been back in Jamaica since Sunda Team ROWW has now been back in Jamaica since Sunday for our 3rd deployment following Hurricane Melissa. We spent our first day assessing homes that were missed in previous weeks. We continue to meet new families still in urgent need of assistance. We’re currently in the areas of Spring Mount, Sunderland, and Patoosie

Our team has spent that last few days surveying damaged homes, making supply lists, gathering those supplies, and making the necessary repairs to those structures for individual families. We’ve been BUSY and have made repairs close to 2 dozen homes and structures. Our team has made great personal connections as well as revisited Principal Fowler at the Norwood Basic School to drop off more care packages!

Strength is a cycle and we are motivated by their will to rebuild and hold onto hope! 3 deployments is no joke and we hope we’ve left a lasting impression on everyone we’ve encountered.

One of our local volunteers is a teacher at the Sunderland school and we’ve made it our mission to make sure their school stays dry and has necessary repairs to continue holding class for the local children there! Supplies are scarce however we are gathering as much as we possibly can given the severity of the damage throughout the country.

Thank you this amazing team of volunteers and thank you to our incredible donors. Please stay tuned for more! Donations can be made at ROWW.org today!
1 Year Later: A look back at ROWW’s response to th 1 Year Later: A look back at ROWW’s response to the 2025 LA County Fires

Continuing on our last post about our immediate response from January - August - as shown above:

In August 2025 ROWW partnered with @americanredcross to continue this incredible work and shift into longterm recovery efforts for local survivors. As we have all seen, these fires devastated densely populated areas, resulting in complete loss of homes ranging in the thousands. People need help, and we’ve stepped up big time. ROWW has maintained constant coordination with donors and recipients to ensure the right items are available based on needs and that the right people receive those items. Our amazing team works day in and day out to serve our clients and we have a pulse on the current happenings. Stay tuned as we share more updates!

A look back at 365 days in Altadena, CA. On Januar A look back at 365 days in Altadena, CA. On January 7th, 2025, wildfires ravaged major cities in Los Angeles County causing unprecedented damage to homes and businesses. LA is ROWW’s hometown and our team responded immediately with supplies distribution locations and then elevated our recovery efforts with specific products and care packages tailored to each family we met.

We’re proud to say we’ve been actively involved in relief efforts since day 2 and we’re still here. We can’t thank all the amazing people behind the scenes enough for their hard work and unwavering dedication to helping Angelenos during these hard times. This has been the longest continuous deployment ROWW has done to date - we’re driven by our supporters and the community we serve

Over the next few days we’ll be covering ROWW’s notable moments that have helped shape our year in LA through videos, posts, recaps, and what we’re doing today and for the foreseeable future here.

Thank you all ♥️
