In early 2023, we deployed to Turkey within 48 hours of the massive earthquake that shook the world. We participated in search and rescue efforts by joining local first responders and were successful in saving seven lives! The team worked 24 hour shifts around the clock and three days post-disaster, we were able to locate and extract a family of five; all of whom survived. It was freezing, exhausting, and both physically and mentally straining, but it is why we do what we do and why we are so proudand grateful for our amazing volunteers that are literally risking their lives to save others.
