Earthquake Response

In June 2026, ROWW responded to a doublet earthquake that hit Venezuela. According to the USGS, the first earthquake was 7.2 followed by a second that was 7.5. In their wake, these disasters left many people severely injured and multiple structures affected.

Reach Our WorldWide immediately started working to coordinate relief efforts on the ground to get supplies to the communities in Venezuela. With the help of its partner ToolBank USA, ROWW helped identify one of the greatest needs was basic power equipment and tools. In total, Toolbank USA provided ROWW with:

  • 1,332 flat long-handle shovels
  • 50 corded reciprocating saws
  • 28 corded circular saws
  • 36 corded drills
  • 500 reciprocating saw blades
  • 105 circular saw blades
  • 42 drill bit kits

From there, ROWW coordinated with All Hands and Hearts to manage transportation logistics of the tools to Miami International Airport. In Miami, our partner Airlink received the tools and loaded them onto a plane bound for Venezuela where they would be distributed to the affected communities.

The key to the success of this deployment was teamwork. ROWW would never have been able to make such a large impact without the help of its partners ToolBank USA, All Hands and Hearts, and Airlink. By responding together, we are able to respond quicker and make a bigger impact. As Venezuela begins to recover, ROWW is monitoring the situation to help wherever it is needed.
