Team ROWW: Paradise, made up of an exceptionally skilled and hardy group of volunteers, worked late into the night, through pouring down rain and freezing cold weather, to ensure two families would be back into their homes for the holidays. The Roberts Family was previously living in a shed with no kitchen and an outdoor make-shift shower. Our team completely insulated and built out and furnished the dwelling into a functional and complete home. D’s family, including her wheelchair-bound son with muscular dystrophy, received installed flooring, blinds, an outdoor shed, ADA access ways throughout the home, and 300 LF of installed fencing. This project was made possible by Lowe’s, who provided all materials for both projects!
