🚨 FLASH FLOODING HITS CROOKSVILLE, OHIO FOR A SECO 🚨 FLASH FLOODING HITS CROOKSVILLE, OHIO FOR A SECOND TIME IN ONE WEEK

Crooksville was hit by major flooding 8/16 after several rounds of torrential rain overwhelmed Perry County once again overnight.

The flooding has forced evacuations and multiple water rescues as communities were trying to put their lives back together from last weeks flash flood disaster. Cleanup and recovery has been paused while our partners at Hovking Valley Search and Rescue attempt to reach stranded citizens.
Keep all of our rescuers, clean up crews and the citizens of Ohio in your thoughts today.

While making our way to the area, our team also encountered multiple tornado warnings, adding another challenge to the journey.🌪️

We are now on location, organizing our teams and volunteers for recovery efforts in Crooksville and Roseville Villages. We begin assisting families and individuals who have been picking up the pieces of their lives. Items such as totes, boxes and garbage bags are of the utmost necessity at this time. So that’s what we are taking into the disaster zone, along with masks, gloves and gowns donated by the Perry County EMA office. 🧤⚒️

A huge thank you to everyone involved in this deployment—our volunteers, supporters, and partnering organizations like: Hocking Valley Search & Rescue.
Your dedication and willingness to respond when communities need help most- make a difference.
Thank you!
