Hurricane Melissa Update, Days 5&6: @codybwalker &

Hurricane Melissa Update, Days 5&6: @codybwalker & @tyrese joined ROWW in Jamaica and we were then big enough and able to divide and conquer! Cody and Tyrese filled 2 water trucks and provided the fresh clean water to a local medical office in Flankers, also filling water for people along the way. Once that was complete they headed to Siloah with supplies and Starlinks. Simultaneously, our other team headed to Burnt Savanna with an SUV full of fresh supplies. Traffic and road closures has made travel long, almost every tree is down.
Lastly, we began building supply care kits, we are now distributing them locally, over 100 kits in total. Still at it here, all your donations are making a difference, link in bio, stay tuned for more updates. The people here are strong, resilient, remain hopeful and are happy to see help!

Hurricane Melissa Deployment Update, Day 4: The team traveled Bluefields, a coastal village just south of Westmorland, to distribute food and supplies to residents in need. Then, they assisted with repairing a local farmer’s chicken storage shed. His chickens are sold to numerous restaurants and food stands - helping him get up and going will help feed so many local residents. We stopped back in Santa Cruz to restock the truck with food and supplies and are making our way to Montego Bay for distribution! Our small and mighty team is working hand in hand with remote communities to make the biggest impact we can! Thank you for all your support, time to get back to work!

Hurricane Melissa Deployment Update, Day 2: Our team was able to travel and distribute all the food and supplies we initially brought with us, plus everything we stocked up on locally on Day 1. We then went back into town to restock and are on our way to remote mountainous villages near Black River and Burnt Savanna, some areas have seen 0 relief. We have armed escorts to ensure we make it safely with the water, baby food, diapers, hygienic supplies, and more we have with us.
